Instituto Butantan, in cooperation with the University of São Paulo (USP) and the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) will promote an International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology-ICGEB global event: “Emerging infectious diseases: biology, prevention and treatment” on November 7-11, 2022. The objective is to gather experts in infectious diseases for a broad discussion of state-of-the-art discoveries and solutions for improved diagnosis and therapy. The meeting will provide modules that bring together experts who investigate from vectors to molecular basis studies developed on advanced platforms, seeking to understand the unresolved critical points that hinder the impact of more effective therapy.
