IN RECENT DECADES, THE CONTROL OF TB HAS BEEN NEGLECTED BY PUBLIC POLICIES, BY SOCIETY AND EVEN THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY, IN THE ILLUSION THAT THE PROBLEM WOULD BE RESOLVED AND / OR UNDER CONTROL. CAUSES OF DEATHS IN THE WORLD, TB IS THE 7TH PLACE, AND MAY REACH THE 1ST PLACE IS BY THE YEAR 2020, THE MAIN COUNTRIES AFFECTED BY TB, AS WELL AS DEVELOPED COUNTRIES DO NOT CHANGE THEIR POLICIES ON PUBLIC HEALTH AND INTERNATIONAL . THE STUDY OF MTB HAS BEEN DEVELOPED THROUGH VARIOUS TOOLS, SUCH AS IMMUNE, INCLUDING VACCINES, EPIDEMIOLOGICAL AND MOLECULAR BIOLOGY. GENOTYPING OF MTB IN THE METHODOLOGIES USED ARE THE RFLP ( "RESTRCTION FRAGMENT LENGTH POLYMORPHISM), THE" SPOLIGOTYPING "AND MIRU (MYCOBACTERIAL INTERSPERSED REPETITIVE UNITS"). THE "SPOLIGOTYPING" IS A METHOD BASED ON GENOTYPIC POLYMORPHISM OF THE DR LOCUS, UNLIKE THE SPECIES OF THE COMPLEX MTB, BY DETERMINING THE ABSENCE OR PRESENCE OF 43 SEQUENCES DEFINED SPACE. CURRENTLY THE SPOLIGOTYPES ARE CLASSIFIED INTO FAMILIES, CLASSES AND TYPES. USING THE "SPOLIGOTYPING" BUILD A DATABASE OF PROFILES OF BRAZILIAN STRAINS OF MTB, WITH ABOUT 3000 GENOTYPES FROM 11 BRAZILIAN STATES. THESE GENOTYPES ARE CLASSIFIED AS: 45.8% LAM (LATIN AMERICAN AND MEDITERRANEAN FAMILY), 19.7% T (T FAMILY) AND 13.3% HAARLEM (HAARLEM FAMILY). THE GOAL IS TO USE A STATISTICAL MODEL FOR ANALYSIS OF GENOTYPES OF MYCOBACTERIUM TUBERCULOSIS COMPLEX BASED ON THE PROFILES OF "SPOLIGOTYPING". ALL PROFILES OBTAINED AND ALREADY CLASSIFIED ACCORDING TO CRITERIA OF SPOLDB 4 (INTERNATIONAL BANK OF SPOLIGOTYPES "VERSION 4-GUADELOUPE, FRANCE), WERE ANALYZED BY THE NEW ALGORITHM, SPOTCLUST, WHICH INCORPORATES INFORMATION ON THE BIOLOGICAL EVOLUTION OF GENOTYPES.

Palavras-chave: genotyping, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, spoligotype, spotclust, tuberculosis
